In case the option is active, you will see a download link along with the file size so far, so you will be able to save the file to your laptop or computer and look at it or process it with some app. Enabling or disabling the logs becomes effective instantly, so if you don't need one, you could stop it with just a click from the exact same section of the Control Panel. You will still have the ability to access the already generated content by clicking on the Download link.
