Password Protected Directories in Cloud Hosting
All our Linux cloud hosting include a very useful tool which will allow you to protect any folder within your account from unauthorized access with simply two mouse clicks. Once you log in to your Hepsia hosting CP, you will just have to go to the Password Protection section, to pick the main domain or subdomain, to specify the folder which should be secured - the root folder or some folder under it, and then to input the username and the password that have to be used to access the content in question. The feature shall be turned on straightaway, so in case you attempt to open the folder/website, you shall be prompted to enter the login info. You can create or remove many usernames for the very same folder, if needed. If you check out the File Manager section, all password-protected folders will be indicated by a little padlock icon.
Password Protected Directories in Semi-dedicated Hosting
It will take a few clicks to turn on the password protection feature for any folder you have, when you use one of our Linux semi-dedicated hosting. We have an exceptionally effective tool, that has a user-friendly point-and-click interface and which can be used by people without any experience. It is part of the Hepsia Control Panel, that you will get to manage your new account and as soon as you log in and go to the Password Protection section, you shall be able to select the domain or subdomain which should be protected and then the exact folder - either the primary folder or any subfolder under it. You'll also see two boxes where you will have to input the login name and the password which will be required to access the folder in question and you'll be all set to go. By following precisely the same steps, you will be able to set up several different login credentials for the exact same folder to give several individuals their own username/password. All protected folders will have a small padlock sign in the File Manager section.
